KitOps 1.0 Release—Proven in Production and Looking to CNCF

KitOps has reached its 1.0 milestone after being installed over 45,000 times and deployed in production by global enterprises and security-conscious public sector teams. Jozu CTO Gorkem Ercan announced the release includes new features like Hugging Face import capabilities and automatic Kitfile generation, while the project has been submitted to the CNCF Sandbox for vendor-neutral governance. The standardized OCI artifact solution addresses AI/ML packaging fragmentation and enables organizations to manage, secure, and audit AI projects using existing infrastructure without new clusters or subscription fees.
